How good is BitDefender as an anti virus software?

I have read multiple reviews on anti virus software. So far I have heard BitDefender and Viper out ranking Norton and Mcafee. Does anyone have knowledge or further information regarding BitDefender and Viper versus Norton and Mcafee?

Bitdefender is very good

Eset Nod32 is also very good as is Avast antivirus

Norton is sh** , it hogs the system
